Job Description:
This position is for a licensed teacher certified in business and marketing. The certification code(s) must include one or more of the following 031, 032, 037, 040, 222. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Business and Marketing teachers are responsible for instructing students in several business courses. Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Business and Marketing teachers are responsible for instructing students in several business courses. Teachers must be efficient in developing or revising curriculum, maintaining classroom records, and preparing students
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Instruct students, lecture, develop activities allowing for and demonstrating hands-on skill acquisition, including field trips and guest lecturers
- Provide both online and on-site instructional delivery, proficient with Microsoft products
- Evaluate student performance by observing skills demonstration, feedback from internship sites
- Develop and/or revise vocational education curriculum by researching educational and professional material, reviewing, and selecting textbooks, develop course outline and objectives, and prepare lesson plans and instructional aids
- Maintain current knowledge of in-demand industry skills and prepare students for internships and/or employment
- Maintain classroom records, including attendance records, credential attainment, progress reports, and graduate follow-ups
- Complete requisitions and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Teach both online and on-site
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and job requirements in the area being taught
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree
- Must hold, or be qualified to obtain upon hiring, a teaching license by the Arkansas Department of Education in area being taught, in accordance with ACA 6-17-401, 6-17-402, and 6-17-403
- Must be a licensed teacher in the area taught and/or have a Career & Tech Ed permit
- Must be comfortable teaching people with disabilities
