We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Maintenance Worker to support the overall upkeep and functionality of campus facilities. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of tasks and working as part of a team.

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Maintenance Worker to support the overall upkeep and functionality of campus facilities. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of tasks and working as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up chairs and tables for scheduled meetings or class functions
- Perform minor remodeling tasks, including sheetrock work, door installation, surface preparation, scraping, and painting
- Conduct routine electrical or mechanical repairs
- Perform grounds-keeping duties such as mowing, weeding, and trimming
- Assist in unloading deliveries as appropriate
- Pick up authorized purchases from local vendors as directed by the Facilities Manager
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored after use
- Request additional hand tools when shared use becomes inefficient
- Support janitorial tasks as needed
- Report issues to the Facilities Manager that arise or become apparent while performing routine work
- Participate in staff training sessions as required by OSHA
- Submit ideas for cost savings through energy conservation, improved efficiency, and waste reduction
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least two (2) years of general maintenance experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and maneuver in tight spaces
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with staff, students, vendors, and contractors
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work effectively as part of a team
